A night on the town.

Last week my sister and I went to see Darfur Now in the E Street Cinema.
Although this photo wasn't taken that night, that picture pretty much sums up how my sister and I function when we go out together. We make jokes that no one else will understand, and laugh at things that most people probably wouldn't find funny.
For instance, one time my sister and I were standing Blockbuster looking for movies, and one of the Blockbuster employees--a poor, unsuspecting young guy--walked up right behind us and said a little loudly, "Can I help you find something?"
On cue, my sister and whirled around and gave him a deer in the headlights look, as we both had been startled.
So, there we stood, clutching multiple movies, staring at this guy with the "crazy eyes." He backed away slowly and started to run towards the front of the store, no doubt scared to death by our reaction.
My sister and I barely made it out of the Blockbuster as we were laughing so hard about ruining the poor Blockbuster employee for life. I guarantee he never asked anyone, "Can I help you find something?" ever again.
And, I'm sure no one else will understand this story (it's one of those "you had to be there" kind of stories), but it just illustrates how there are some people in this world that you understand and they understand you....and you don't need to feel silly about walking around giggling at unsuspecting employees in Blockbuster.
Is there anyone you have in your life that you can always count on for a laugh?
